Question by xxx..Eva..xxx: Around how long does it take to do the 4 disney parks in orlando?
We are going for 14 days but we want to go to sea world, discovery cove, the waterparks (typhoon lagoon, aquatica and blizzard beach) and daytona beach! Will we be able to do all this is 2 weeks! if we did the other parks for a day each not including disney it comes to only 5 days(we might not do daytona beach!) so how long do we need for the disney parks! We are not doing universal!
Thanks

I think you’ll be able to do each of the Disney parks in a day each…maybe spend 2 days at Magic Kingdom…I’ve done each of these in a day but I live in Orlando so I can go whenever….wow, all those things in 2 weeks?! You’re gonna need a vacation after your vacation! =)
Have fun!!

Wow! You are packing it in! If you can afford it, try to stay at a Disney hotel while you are there. Not only will that cut down on travel time and cost, but you also get bracelets that will get you into different parks before they open or after they close so that you can spend more time without the crowds. Also, look on-line or get them to mail you a map and show schedules so you can map out what it is you want to do. Find out the best things to do to suit you by calling their Guest Relations department if you’re not sure what you will like.
If you are not going with kids, make sure you do Epcot at night. It has a great vibe and a fun fireworks show (eat dinner while watching the show to maximize time)
My husband and I stopped there on our way to our honeymoon Cruise and did Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and WD Studios in 3 days. We had a great time and got in everything we wanted to do.
You need a day each to see everything. I suggest you stay until the fireworks display, you will get your money’s worth. If you stay until the end, you will be able to get on the rides in short time, you don’t want to stand in line for hours. I would suggest you get the fast pass to all park and avoid waiting.
I recommend 6 days for the 4 Disney theme parks–see this page:http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/how-long-to-stay/
However, you are headed for theme park exhaustion! Consider doing just one waterpark, not 3, and definitely skip Daytona this time around. If you can, you should plan on a day off for every 2-3 days of parks! Consider cutting back on your ambitions and seeing some stuff on another visit.
Good luck, Dave
If you want to do each park throughly:
Magic Kingdom: 1.5 days
EPCOT: 1.5 Days
Hollywood Studios: 1 Day
Animal Kingdom: 1 Day
If you are just going for thrill rides or popular rides, each park will take about a day. When I go, I spend the whole week on Disney Alone (2 days at Magic, 1 Day at Hollywood, 1 day at Animal, 2 days at EPCOT, 1 day at Typhoon/Blizzard).
We just did a full day in each. People say they do longer, but if you do more than one day, it will be really boring. We managed to do all the things we wanted to plus eating and resting.
I’ll say one park per day (4days = 4parks). If you get a park-hopper pass you can take a glimpse at all 4 parks in one day and spend more time or an extra day at your favorite park.
I stayed for a week with my family and we didn’t see everything, but I also had a 1, 2 and 7 year old. My youngest 2 needed naps every day. 2 weeks should be good.
it depends how fast or slow you wanna go and what you want to see. MGM is 1/2 day park so is Animal K. Epcot is 3/4 day and MK is 1 full day-if you went when they opened and stayed til closing, and picked a night when they’re open til 12am or later, you could do all of it. Use FastPass. Disney waterparks take 1/2 day each. Dont forget to snorkle in the shark reef, it’s kinda outta the way -i missed it the first time we went. It’s fantastic (found it 2nd time around). hope that helps
You can NEVER do everything at Disney. If you tryed it would take a year. I go for 10 day on average, and still can’t do everything at disney. Pick out the things that you really want to do. Then do those things and if you have time, explore!
