i disagree, i blame vickers for the move, it was too late and bled off too much speed, the only way to see it was by the overhead view, a block means you pull over in front of the guy not into him dale jr was on the breaks as he tried to get back into the racing groove but vickers had lost too much speed himself, Jr’s only option would have been to let the entire field pass or follow the apron into the corner, vickers should have either moved over sooner or let him go

i am far from a dale jr fan, but i got to call it like i see it,

I worry about jr’s mental stability-his ability to address reporters questions, in a lucid,communicative way, has noticeably deteriorated over the past 2 seasons. His latest responses,to reporter inquiries;pre-race and after; coupled with his ‘during race’ rookie mistakes, leads me to believe that there is a serious medical problem that he is hiding from DEI & junior nation fans. I suspect a neural condition that slowly strips him of lucid thought. Between the ‘leaded gas’ and ‘carbon monoxide’ poisoning;he has endured since birth; I suspect he is in a downward spiral of mental health. He may see now that he is just mortal-subject to mortal conditions.

I agree Winter, gotta be rivalry or NASCAR isn’t happy. But I think Junior vs. Vickers may be fun too. I read that after Vicker’s was spouting off (yes, I understand things get said out of anger) about Junior’s move and Junior even got on the radio and said, “Tell Vickers if he wants to meet me in the garage and get his azz beat, I’d be willing.” “Message delivered,” crew chief Tony Eury Jr. responded.

I thought it was pretty funny. Junior had a bad day but I still luv ‘em!

They should just let the guys fight, why not? In the old days of racing that what they did I was watching previews and guys were hammering each other with helmets and punching. People are obsessed with the wreck that happened at Daytona and all you can really do is sit there and complain about it. I’m not so impressed with how they just stopped the race and made Matt the winner. Kevin Harvick could have easily taken they lead away.
