Question by Kenneth L: Is it wrong not to tell someone you had a precognitive dream about their death?
For a few years I kept having a weiird dream about my car being stuck in flood like conditions. My husband was predominately the onlly driver of our car. I always felt an eerie conection to my husband and this car dream.

Phase one of the dream was about the car parked in the driveway. I would see rain pour down on our car. This dream kept occurring for months.

Phase two of the dream started happening just after the first car dream stopped. In this dream our car was parked next to our livingroom window. I looked out of the window and saw the car submerged in waist high water. .

At the time my husband was on unemployment and we were struggling to pay both a mortgage and a car payment. My rationalization led me to believe this dream was related to our financial struggles until phase three started.

Phase three of the dream was the car interior taking on alot of water.
The inside of the car looked flooded.

Phase four of this dream shown our family standing on Daytona beach helplessly watching the car being sucked away by the ocean. The kids and and I tried to chase after the car while my husband stood there watching like a zombie

During the sequence of my car dreams I had a seperate nightmareish dream where I was being told my husband was going to die in exactly three years. I woke up in a panic. I felt like a subliminal message was being played over and over in my mind.It was so odd because the message relayer spoke to me with joy like it was a happy event. I was also being given a message about my own demise. I absolutely blew off listening to the message about myself. I only cared about my husbands and woke myself up in a panic.I checked my husband and saw he was perfectly fine sleeping peacefully beside me. So I decided I should try to go back to finish the dream and look for important instructions which could change the outcome should this be a real spiritual encounter trying to help us. I could not get back to the state of sleep I was in and failed to reconnect with the messenger.

I couldn’t ever totally dismiss the possibility of this message being a real true warning yet I wanted to believe it was a creepy nightmare. My husband was young. He died at age 45. I wanted him to pursue hapiness even if it was short lived.

During the last three years of my husbands life we relocated to Florida. We had been planning this for a few years. My husband was bitten by a spider in our previous home during the process of cleaning up our yard to sell our home.

On our relocating trip his stomach swelled up like a balloon. As soon as we arrived in Florida my husband checked into the hospital. He was treated for spider blood poisoning. The hospital ran several tests on him and discovered his liver disease. advanced chirrosis. His blood pressure was high and the doctors started prescribing bottles and bottles of new meds to treat his blood pressure and liver disease.

Ken died a few months later. aprroximately 3 years to the date of my fearful dream. An hour before he died we received a phone call. Ken answered it. He was talking to a telemarketer about time sharing hotel suites on Daytona Beach. Ken very politely explained to the gentleman that we only live 45 minutes away from Daytona and it wouldn’t be practical for us to make a purchase of that nature.

After the phone call we had lunch. Ken went off to the bathroom after we ate. He started vomitting up blood and went into hypovlemic shock. The ambulance rushed him to the hospital he died shortly afterwards.

All of my dreams DID link together in reality. The car dream being sucked up in the ocean (Daytona) didn’t happen though Kens last final conversation was with someone about Daytona beach.

The car itself is in the junk yard now. We traded it in before he died. The engine started acting up. The heater core and the air conditioner was leaking water onto the passenger side floor. We always had a big puddle in the car. The radiator sprang a leak and everytime it rained water would pour onto the steering wheel from a leak around the seal of the windshield.

I feel horrible.I don’t know if I should have warned Ken about these dreams. If I had he may have been scared and the quality of his life may have been ruined..

The spider bite occurred at our former home.I now believe it was inevidable that he would receive the spider bite. The spider bite set the course to place him in the hospital.

Some of you may comment and accuse me of being rotten or selfish for not advising him of my dreams. I’ve posted a similar question pertaining to this and received some evil comments,

I just don’t know how anyone could tell someone when their death is going to occur. I know it would have caused me anguish to know my life was over so soon.

Please no rude comments. This isn’t a fairy tale. I don’t need prozac. I’m not a freak. I have some supernatural insights. I cant explain why. This isn’t a gag. Yes my profile is Kenneth. I am

Wow, it sounds like you’ve got a pretty big load to carry on your shoulders. Of course you did the right thing by not telling your husband, He’d either believe you, and freak out, or laugh at you, both bad scenarios. The important thing is that you loved him and gave him the best life you possibly could.

I can’t say that you were wrong not to tell him. I will tell you this however. Unless you had been instructed to do something, you were not meant to do anything…so don’t beat yourself up about it. God has spoken to me in dreams and he has always given clear instructions as to what I was supposed to do…usually in answer to a prayer request that I had made some time before. Some might say that I answered my own prayer and I can’t say for sure that I didn’t…but the solutions that arose in the dreams had never ever crossed my mind.
