This show was really fun to do. It was an English translation of the opera, and definitely channeled the Bugs Bunny version. It was fun to work on and well done. Now when I listen to it in Italian, I still here the English translation in my head.

This design was fun for me because I experimented with unusual fibers to create the wigs. The wigs are angora — so they have great texture. I was also able to begin branching out into using different stitches for effect. This is one of the first designs that I did that moved away from copying the program cover of the show.

Part of "The Resume Blanket" – a visual depiction of my career in theatre

I love this design. I also loved doing the show. We did the show in rotating rep with The Music Man — it was crazy.

There’s a detail shot so you can see all of the detail of the magic carpet. I was still working on my technique of transferring the design to the fabric, which is why there is a weird pink glow. That’s the transfer pencil that I was trying at the time. Unfortunately it tended to leave way too big a mark for me to keep using it.

I’ve been looking into taking a trip to Daytona Beach. I’ve seen some pictures that are beautiful, but I’ve also seen some that make it look run down and filled with construction. I’m also tossed between a couple of hotels: The Saxony, The Conch House, and the Seaside Inn. Please give me any info you have!!

There is one hotel that I cant remember the name, it has windows for walls lol, its neat.
