Question by joshcoolblue_2008: How does a boarding pass work?

It depends. Did you book it all at once? If so, you will probably get both boarding passes when you check in the first time, and your luggage will already be on your connecting flight. Your flight sched. sounds like you’ll just get both boarding passes when you check in. If not, the airline attendant will tell you when you check in.

You should not have to check in again at Atlanta. You will have a boarding pass for both flights. If not, when you get to Atlanta, go to the gate agent at the gate where your California flight is leaving from and get a pass for the California flight.
I’m flying LGA-ATL-DAB in a week. Pretty coincidental
. If you booked the whole flight and ATL is just the connection, they will give you both boarding passes when you get to DAB. When you get to ATL, you should be able to walk right to the gate for the flight to ONT.
However, if for some reason they don’t give you the boarding pass at DAB, you can easily receive it in ATL at the gate in which the flight to ONT is departing.
Have a nice trip and stay in California.
I’ll be in Daytona Beach at ERAU.
