Question by Nikki: Anyone ever been to Daytona Beach, Fl?
I will soon be traveling to Daytona Beach, Fl. What is there to do here? I am 22, and am traveling with my 24 year old husband. We are staying at the Oceanside Inn. Anyone have any experience with this hotel? Please let me know what is fun to do here, never been before. Thanks. P.S. We aren’t into Daytona 500 stuff…

Hi, bring your walking shoes. You can take a tour of the lighthouse at ponce inlet – 10 miles south, climb the lighthouse, every step. Daytona beach is also one of the few beaches left in the U.S. where cars can drive on the beach. Get a week pass and go on and off as you please. Some entertainment down at the boardwalk/ pier (bungee jumping, small rides, arcades, restaurants, fishing). Main Street has some Harley Davidson Interest. You can watch the car races or the dog races, shopping is best across the intercoastal just over the bridge. And the only Drive in Church is in Daytona Shores, just like a drive in movie but for church, i’ve seen it all. There are golf courses, jet ski rentals, bars- not really night clubs unless you count strip clubs. Have Fun.

Daytona Beach is a big Spring Break town. Watch out for Girls Gone Wild hiding in the bushes.
