We are headed to Florida and this will be my first time. you’ll see me posting and doing a lot of research often. I have a full year to complete this travel plans

It’s about 60 miles or 1 hour…give or take for traffic etc.

About 45 mins. Head south all the way down Interstate 4.

Daytona Beach is about an hour northeast of Orlando on I-4. Daytona is pretty boring, though. I’d recommend going due east on the BeeLine Expressway and going to Kennedy Space Center, which is the same distance. It’s much more interesting, and Cocoa Beach is a lot prettier than Daytona, which I think is highly over-rated (unless you have a Harley or you’re into Nascar).

You should check out the Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. Clearwater Beach is gorgeous. It should take you about 90 minutes to get there from Disney.
